If I hire Paul Francis Photography for my wedding, who will photograph my wedding?
I do not outsource any of the weddings I take on. During your engagement you will meet with me, receive my email responses and have my ideas and inspiration for your wedding day. The only exception to this is if I had an emergency of epic health proportions in which case one one of my colleagues who is as capable as me would step in to cover your wedding.
How many weddings do you shoot per year?
We set a yearly cap of 25 weddings. This allows us to focus our attention on the couples who choose us to photograph their weddings. We invest everything we have in each wedding we photograph and we want every couple who hires us to have the complete Paul Francis Photography experience.
Do you edit your images?
Yes and no. We believe that a good photograph is created when the shutter is pressed, not in photoshop after the fact. We will go through every image and make slight enhancements if necessary as well as remove any blemishes that are present. By pushing ourselves to capture moments well as we are photographing a wedding it helps speed up our process of getting your images back to you by not having to fix things later.
How long will we have to wait to see our photographs?
We totally know you will be refreshing our blog constantly to see if we have posted your wedding photos so we don’t want to keep you waiting longer than is necessary. We like to post a preview photo on the Monday after your wedding to give you something to hold you over. Then we post a set of around 50-60 of our favorite images from your wedding day after we have finished going through all of the images, about a month after your wedding. We then send you a link to the full set of images in an online gallery which you can send pass on to family and friends in case they want to order any prints without having to drive you crazy for a copy.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! We love to travel for weddings and have had the opportunity to photograph weddings throughout the United States.
