The Mondrian SoHo and High Line Park in Manhattan NYC were wonderful on the lovely spring day that we spent photographing Erica and Arthur’s engagement photos this weekend. We had a great time learning more about Erica and Arthur and the beautiful relationship and romance they share as we photographed their joy and love. Michelle and Jon met in one of the most comfortable ways, through mutual friends. They developed their friendship over time. As Jon says, until he got up the courage to ask her on their first date. From there the rest is history. They have been together ever since. They are blessed to be surrounded by many friends and family members who care for and love them. Not to mention the beautiful love that they share which we got to see first hand during their engagement session at Natirar Park in Peapack and Gladstone NJ. When Michelle and Jon are together it is easy to see how in love they are. And the way Jon looks at Michelle… priceless! Congratulations Michelle and Jon!

Hoboken NJ Waterfront Engagement Photography {Beth and Mike}

Beth and Mike are getting married! Beth and Mike found each other through mutual friends. When they were invited to the same party, the friends who invited them did not realize that the two would not only hit it off, but just a few years later would be engaged!

For Beth & Mike’s engagement session we went where it all began, Hoboken NJ’s beautiful waterfront. Not only is Hoboken the city where they first met, but they were engaged at the end of the pier along the waterfront. We just love this place, because it beautiful and romantic and of course because it is also the same place where Paul and I were engaged

Beth and Mike are beautiful couple in love. They have so much fun together and without fail make each other crack up! Beth and Mike are wonderful together. There were so many moments throughout our session that we would find them being sweet and romantic without any direction. They were just soaking in the love that they share. And that kind of love is inspiring.

Beth and Mike, we cannot wait to photograph your wedding this year. Congratulations!

Willowwood Arboretumm, Far Hills NJ Boho Engagement Session Photography {Alicia & Mike}

Alicia and Mike are engaged! Alicia and Mike met with us at the Willowwood Arboretum in Far Hills, NJ for their spring engagement session. I LOVE Alicia’s style, especially the way she put together the details for the photo session. Alicia’s interest in fashion and her love for all things bohemian were her motivation for styling their boho inspired engagement photos. Alicia is also a makeup artist, so naturally she was flawless. Alicia and Mike are such a sweet couple. They are always making each other laugh and having fun together. You can genuinely see the deep friendship turned romance they share. Alicia and Mike, it was a pleasure photographing your engagement session, and we cannot wait for your wedding this fall!

Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve Engagement Session, New Hope PA {Elyssa and Joe}

Elyssa and Joe knew they were meant for each other from the beginning. When Joe’s roommate invited over Elyssa and her friend, Joe did not know the revelation that would come that evening. His roommate invited her over in attempt to spend time with Elyssa’s friend, but in the process Elyssa made quite an impression on Joe. As they were trying to choose movies to watch for their movie marathon, Joe mentioned one of his favorites – Life of Brian, one of the Monty Python movies. He was pleasantly surprised when Elyssa burst out with what she calls a “dissertation” of why they just HAD to watch this movie! Little did Elyssa know, she was wooing Joe, showing him just how much they had in common and Joe knew they were going to become close friends. Joe described this as the moment he knew he “couldn’t let her get away”! That night Joe knew Elyssa was the girl for him, and now they are getting married!

Elyssa and Joe have so much fun together. They make each other smile and laugh with ease, and are so comfortable in each other’s arms. It was a joy to photograph their engagement session, witnessing the joy, friendship, and love they share. Bowman’s Wildflower Preserve in New Hope, PA was a wonderful backdrop for their engagement photos. Bowman’s Wildflower Preserve is a place Elyssa and Joe like to visit often, going for long walks, and light hikes through the variety of nature it provides. Elyssa and Joe we are so happy for you two and we look forward to photographing your upcoming wedding in September!

Hoboken NJ Waterfront Engagement Photography Preview {Beth and Mike}

We met with Beth and Michael in the city where they met, got engaged, and are starting their life together. Hoboken NJ was an easy selection for Beth and Mike’s engagement session because it is such a special place for them. We walked around the beautiful waterfront, where Mike proposed, and through the train station as they spent lots of time on NJ transit as they traveled to visit each other during their courtship.
