Dawn LaValle - These are just splendid! What a wonderful way to remember a wonderful day.
One question: you took individual photos of each bridesmaid with the bride. Are those available to view, or did they just not turn out very well? I’d love to have a photo of Eva and me on the big day!
Thanks!
Dawn

Hurricane-d in

How are you keeping yourself dry, safe, and entertained during Hurricane Irene? Here in New Jersey we’re not used to natural disasters, so everyone’s getting a little frazzled. We’re now officially hurricane-d in, I guess that’s the summer version of being snowed in. We did our preparations, put away the patio furniture, cleared out the…

Hurricane Irene {the Aftermath} | Paul Francis Photography - [...] Hurricane Irene came and went. Everyone’s got their stories of how it effected them and are now dealing with the aftermath. Sunday morning when the rain slowed and we went outside we found we were surrounded by rivers. On one end of the street there usually is a stream, but on this day it was more like a raging river that over flowed all the way up the street to our house. There’s been some collection of water there in the past with heavy rain, but nothing like this. At one point, Paul tried to go out (why? I don’t know. He says his masculine sense of adventure) and stopped because the water came up to door of our SUV! When we went to observe what kind of flooding we were dealing with, we ended up meeting lots of wonderful neighbors we never have before. Nothing like a hurricane to bring people together. They told us emergency personnel were passing through… on boats! I wish I had seen that. [...]
