Elyssa and Joe knew they were meant for each other from the beginning. When Joe’s roommate invited over Elyssa and her friend, Joe did not know the revelation that would come that evening. His roommate invited her over in attempt to spend time with Elyssa’s friend, but in the process Elyssa made quite an impression on Joe. As they were trying to choose movies to watch for their movie marathon, Joe mentioned one of his favorites – Life of Brian, one of the Monty Python movies. He was pleasantly surprised when Elyssa burst out with what she calls a “dissertation” of why they just HAD to watch this movie! Little did Elyssa know, she was wooing Joe, showing him just how much they had in common and Joe knew they were going to become close friends. Joe described this as the moment he knew he “couldn’t let her get away”! That night Joe knew Elyssa was the girl for him, and now they are getting married!
Elyssa and Joe have so much fun together. They make each other smile and laugh with ease, and are so comfortable in each other’s arms. It was a joy to photograph their engagement session, witnessing the joy, friendship, and love they share. Bowman’s Wildflower Preserve in New Hope, PA was a wonderful backdrop for their engagement photos. Bowman’s Wildflower Preserve is a place Elyssa and Joe like to visit often, going for long walks, and light hikes through the variety of nature it provides. Elyssa and Joe we are so happy for you two and we look forward to photographing your upcoming wedding in September!
