Monica and Aaron’s love story began as they entered college at Rutgers University in New Brunswick freshman year. Even though they did not officially meet until senior year, they crossed paths many times from the beginning. When they finally officially met in the elevator after a night out, they became immediately inseparable. They spent their final year at Rutgers together creating lasting memories. Over the next six years, eight cities, six apartments and four states they proved the strength of their love!
Just after Christmas 2011, Aaron took Monica for a day trip to NYC. As they enjoyed a delicious brunch at a quaint Parisian cafe, Aaron gave Monica a hand-written Anniversary card. I have to quote the rest of the story as Monica tells it perfectly,
The card read:
“Someday many years from now, we’ll look back on this crazy time in our life together and wonder how we did it all. And then those ordinary everyday moments, that we often take for granted will shimmer like the stars as we recount them… I’ll sit close beside you, you’ll take my hand in yours. We’ll look at eachother and say: “I’d do it all again and I wouldn’t change a thing. All I want for our Anniversary is for you to look at me and tell me you love me.”
“As Monica said “I love you” and looked up at Aaron, there he was with a ring in his hand, saying he loved her too and asking her to spend the rest of her life with him.
After a harrowing 5 minutes of speechlessness, she finally exclaimed “Why didn’t you let me get a manicure first!!!” which Aaron assumed meant “Yes”.”
On their wedding day, Monica’s sister and Matron-of-honor, Amber, gave a toast in honor of her baby sister and her new husband. Amber said that Monica & Aaron makes things beautiful – both on the inside and outside. Their good taste created a visually beautiful wedding design, while their good hearts created a beautiful wedding through their strong love that cannot be seen, but experienced. Monica and Aaron you are an amazing couple that radiates love, joy, warmth, gentleness and kindness. It has been an honor to spend time with you two as you prepared for and became united in marriage and to witness the way you love one another. We are so happy for you as you begin your new life together, congratulations!

The First Look!
The Best Man and Matron of Honor gave hilarious and moving speeches.
At the end of the Matron of honor’s speech, she concluded by inviting all of their family members to join her and circle around Monica and Aaron. And then as she said we promise not to embarrass the happy couple too much in the future, they all put on silly masks and danced around them giving the whole reception a good laugh!
