Wow, it has been quite the winter! I have lost track of the amount of snow we have had but I am happy for the warmer weather and glad that it arrived in time for Christina and Jon’s engagement session. They chose downtown Westfield, NJ and the town was bustling with activity as locals were eagerly venturing out into the warmth. Fortunately we were able to find a few quiet spots around town for Christina and Jon to enjoy each other’s company and reflect on their upcoming wedding later this year. Here is the story of how they were engaged in their words:
“Our proposal took place at Kutztown University while visiting for homecoming weekend. It all happened right in front of the brick-lined Kutztown University sign next to Rothermel Hall, the dorm we both used to live in. During our visit, it was suggested by our friends Andy and Laura that we take a photo in front of the Kutztown University sign. While posing for the photo, Christina was surprised by our friends Matt and Frank who came out of nowhere playing guitar and singing “Oh Yoko” by John Lennon, a favorite of ours. When Christina turned around, Jon was down on one knee and proposed to her. Later that night we celebrated with all our friends at the Basin Street Hotel, our favorite local bar.”
I am looking forward to photographing your Fall wedding at the amazing Park Savoy!!
