The engagement ring has been around for quite some time now. It started as just a simple braided  grass band in the times of the cavemen  and evolved into the diamond encrusted extravaganza it is today. As spectacular as it is, the engagement ring holds a meaning more beautiful than its looks. It symbolizes a promise, an excitement, and anticipation for a new life together in marriage.
