In the high school Jon was just a year older than Jen but the two would never meet because of their separate interests. It was years later that they met, through a mutual friend. Even then it wasn’t that instantaneous love at first sight story. They grew to be friends and eventually they’re love for each other transformed into the the love that they share today.
