Rebecca and Dave – McLoone’s Pier House, Long Branch NJ Wedding Photography

I always find the stories of how couples meet and begin their married lives together to be so interesting! It always seems that the seemingly random paths of two people are so directly and perfectly brought into line with one another that it makes sense they decided to be joined together in marriage. Rebecca and Dave is one such couple with a particularly interesting story:

“We met in high school when we were both in marching band and became good friends. Our little circle of school friends stayed in touch over the years. So we had the opportunity to bring our friends and families together several times a year and had some of the best times we can remember camping in Lake George and going to the Jersey shore many times. We have always supported each other in times of difficulty and shared in each other’s joys. Never, in 22 years of friendship, did we imagine that one day we would see each other in a new light and our feelings would change to love or that we would have a home together and be planning our wedding — but somehow here we are. We feel very lucky that we have had the chance to share such a strong and unique bond.”

It was an honor to photograph their wedding and witness the culmination of their friendship after so many years. Congratulations Rebecca and Dave!!
