Old Field Club is one of my favorite wedding venues on Long Island. The staff there are all so kind and helpful when planning for a wedding day. Aside from being set on a beautiful piece of property itself, Old Field Club also has a picturesque private beach. The beach is in the prime location to observe a moment of peace and comfort after your busy wedding morning while taking a few portraits.
Originating as a swim club in 1929, Old Field Club holds a rustic charm and warmth with in it’s walls. While the ballroom is large enough to accommodate over a hundred guests it still has the feel of a small intimate wedding reception. Just outside the ballroom is where you’ll find their gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony spot with whimsical looking painted wooden benches on either side of a stone path. Behind the wedding arch after the pathway ends, is West Meadow Creek. It’s tall grass and peaceful water frames a majestic view of sunset and provides an incredible way to end the wedding day and enter into the festivities.
