The week before Matt planned to propose, someone slipped and gave away the surprise. Rossana did not know exactly how Matt would propose, but she knew it would be that week. So when they celebrated her birthday with a perfect day full of some of her favorite activities including a day at the spa and going out to dinner, Rossana knew that was it. Rossana teased Matt, asking him what else he was going to do to perfect the night for the proposal. So of course Matt tried to throw her off, saying it was spoiled and it would be another night. Later on, when they were back hanging out at Rossana’s apartment, Matt had the perfect opportunity to bring back the element of surprise. Rossana called to Matt from the other room asking him to get something from her bag. So Matt grabbed the ring from the drawer where he had hidden it earlier and said, “What is this?” When Rossana came back into the room she found Matt on one knee! He asked her to marry him and she said, “yes!”
Now Rossana and Matt have tied the knot and are husband and wife! Rossana and Matt exchanged vows at St Michael Church in Union, NJ and then celebrated the night away at the gorgeous Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, NJ. Since Rossana is from Italy and lived there most of her life, she wanted a location that reminded her of home – and Pleasantdale Chateau did not disappoint. The arches, cobblestones, statues, and all the scenery gave the whole place a wonderful European flair which was the perfect backdrop to celebrate the wedding of Rossana and Matt.
