Designed in the mid-1920s by John Russell Pope (architect of the National Archives, DC) this amazing Castle is filled with beautiful architecture and detailing. Besides having unique features like a winding, stone staircase and ornate light fixtures it also has 24 rooms for housing guests. In addition, its bridal suite is adorned with antique furniture and an ornate stained glass window letting in the soft morning light. The Castle is surrounded by multiple beautiful gardens and walkways. This makes it so easy to take a break from all the dancing in the ballroom and sneak away to watch the sunset and take some beautiful portraits overlooking the valley below. Take a look at some of our favorite moments captured at The Castle at Skylands Manor!
