Laura and Mike are engaged and getting married next year at the beautiful Park Savoy! Mike has a heart of gold and Laura is a kind spirit, I truly enjoyed my time with them for their engagement session. They had been attending the Preakness at the Pimlico Race Course in Maryland for the past three years, so Mike had decided that this time he was going to surprise Laura with a proposal. He originally wanted to write his proposal on a chalkboard that was on the wall the previous two years, but he had to think fast and come up with another option when he saw that it wasn’t there this year. Between that and getting through security without Laura seeing the engagement ring, he did a good job thinking on his toes. We met up at the amazing Willowwood Arboretum for their engagement session and enjoyed beautiful sunset lighting in one of my favorite, most peaceful places. Congratulations Laura and Mike, I am very excited to photograph your wedding!!
Laura knew something was off when her weekly plans of pizza and chatting with her father on Thursday night where replaced by meeting Dana at his parent’s store. She went to the store expecting to meet Dana, however, she found the store manager holding a tiny red box instead. Inside this box lay the first clue. Laura followed the proceeding clues and with happy tears in her eyes just waiting for that final destination. As she walked up the stairs to the porch, following the fourth clue, she saw Dana peek out from behind the guest room door, in shock that she had gotten there so fast! He hid back in the room again and sent out their dog, Cali, who carried with him a small box with a paper reading, “Laura, will you marry us?”. As she read the message, Dana came out of the room and, kneeling on one knee, he asked Laura to marry him.
Here are some highlights from Laura and Dana’s special day!

Dominique and Jared chose Princeton as their location for their Autumn engagement shoot. Aside from being a familiar as an old workplace to Jared, Dominique loves it for it’s architecture and grounds that remind her of Hogwarts, a fictional school created in JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Here is a small preview of their engagement session.
Karen first saw Sean at his nephew’s baptism. It wasn’t until two weeks later that the two started dating and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Karen and Sean’s engagement shoot was filled with joy and laughter. It was an honor to capture these special moments from our time together in Natirar Park.
Stefanie came home to a stunning bouquet of flowers with a small envelope nestled in between the petals. She opened it, finding a note read like a date card from the tv show, The Bachelor, and telling her that a limo would arrive at 6:45 and she should wear something dressy. The limo arrived and brought Stefanie to her final destination where she stepped across a red carpet rolled out on the pathway and finally seeing Ryan, standing there with a rose and a ring in hand asking her to marry him. With a sweet laugh and a huge smile she said “Yes!”.
Stefanie and Ryan were married under a golden autumn sunlight with a joyous atmosphere emanating from their every motion. It was such a delight to photograph their wedding. Here are some highlights from the day.
